Festival Highlight: Screamin’ Pickle Awards

Who: Amateur Fermenters, big and small

What: A contest that fermenters from all across the land will enter to determine who has the best ferment of them all.  Amateur fermenters can enter one ferment per category: vegetable, fruit and/or non-alcoholic beverage ferment. One award will be given in each category based on a variety of factors to determine who has the best ferment in that category.

Where/How: Ferments should be dropped off at the Screamin’ Pickle Contest area where they will be judged by our professional fermentation tasters; winners will be announced at the Whole Foods Market Fermentation Station.

When: Drop off your ferments between 10:00am and 12:30pm; winners will be announced at 1:45pm.

Why: To go home with one hell of a pickle prize and bragging rights for the rest of the year!
